Science Centers

Four Science Centers are the centerpieces of the project’s education campaign. Each is located in a village less than one kilometer from Kibale National Park. The Science Centers display natural artifacts, giving local citizens a hands-on experience with the Kibale’s amazing wildlife. Artifacts and books also act as a draw for people to learn about the project’s main goals of planting trees and building stoves, demonstrations of which are all around the grounds. The Science Centers are the first of their kind in Uganda, and provide countless new opportunities for exploring and learning about the wonders of the natural world.
